Thessaloniki (520 km. north of Athens) is the second largest city of Greece and the most important centre of the area. Built near the sea (at the back of the Thermaïkos Gulf), it is amodern metropolis bearing the marks of its stormy history and its cosmopolitancharacter, which give it a special beauty and charm.

►Suggestions for restaurants, tested by the organizers:

For traditional Greek Music Tavern: we suggest PALATI in Ladadika, you need to reserve.

For nice mixed local or fish food, sitting and watching the sea, try Agioli.

For quality fish, little expensive but worth it, try THALASSA restaurant.

For traditional meat pan food, very tasty, delivered to your table in a pan, go to TIGANIES AND SHARA at Ladadika area.

For a nice view of the city, many options for taverns, go to the Castle Area on the hill.
